Calligraphy
I began to be interested in calligraphy even before going to elementary school.When I was 6 or 7,one of my parents' colleagues is well known for his beautiful handwriting.He's Mr . Jing,the calligrapher of the school.I was honored to see his 'studio',and we can not consider it as a studio now.It was s a very small room in the 3rd floor of an old,dark and somber wooden buliding,full of ink,paper and odors.When I first used the Chinese brush write an Chinese character 'wan',which means night in English,Mr. Jing and my mother both clapped and shouted 'wow'.I wasn't apprenticed to him because I alway want to get everything done in my own way.I didn't keep practicing Chinese calligraphy and pen-and-ink calligraphy is all I have now.Freestyle!No rules and regulations in calligraphy.Feeling goes before writing.Writing follows feeling.
Bonsais and Stones
Lots of flowers and bonsais there in the yard.In the weekends,dad and I always climbed these hills nearby to discover small potential tree roots as well as orchids.And even earlier when I was a little boy,we rambled on the rock patch of reservoirs,looking for precious stones.Because of the limitation of natural conditions,we could hardly find anything.A father and a son!
Paper Cut in LH
'Excuse me,Sir,where's the East Lake?' U inquired the way of a stranger.Yeah,this voise's always been on my memory for years,and it's the most beautiful sentence I've ever heard,pure,lovely and sweet.We were green and childlike then,after taking part in the paper cut game together, we played there to our heart's content!

my Poet
I don't know how many fly-specked verses and faded rejection letters there,and they did exist since I was sensible.I've never heard of these past stories from them,but I know it clearly.Published or not is nothing now,because we are enjoying your poems and you are my poet,dear dad.
an Art Seed
It was in a middle school lesson when I first heard the five famous Song ceramic wares.The art teacher's name means 'spring' in English and he's my father's colleague and friend.He taught me how to draw a pig with a pencil while I was a child.To be honest,I‘ve been loving art and antique since college,but that was really the art seed which is flourishing now!Thank you,spring!

Smiling in the Blossom

Xuaner playing Guzheng
Xuaner was my friend's classmate and we're very good friends now!I'd like to say I'm so happy and proud to make friends with such a classic Chinese beauty.
She's very good at playing Guzheng.
Now she's apprenticed to the 11th generation of Guangling Qin Music,who's Qin master Mei Yueqiang's favorite student.
Playing Guqin,Drinking Tea,Enjoying Antiquities,Burning Incens,
Arranging Flowers and Watching Kunqu Opera.
Ah,nothing more!
